The Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC ER), has announced a recruitment notification for Apprentices. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRC ER website at rrcer.org. The application period will start on September 24, 2024, and end on October 23, 2024.

Educational qualification:
Candidates must have completed their 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates should hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Age limit:
Applicants must be at least 15 years old and not more than 24 years of age as of the cut-off date for receiving applications.
Selection process:
Selection will be based on merit. A merit list will be created for all eligible candidates who apply according to the notification. The merit list will be compiled by averaging the marks obtained in the matriculation examination (with at least 50% aggregate marks) and the ITI exam, giving equal weightage to each.
Application fees:
The application fee is Rs 100. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempt from this fee. Payment can be made using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, etc.
