What are Exit Polls and when it will be released?
Exit polls, akin to pre-election opinion polls, are conducted post-voting, as electors exit the polling stations. Exit polls will be shown after the 7th phase of voting ends on June 1. Earlier, the Election Commission had informed that there will be a ban on exit polls from 7.00 am on April 19, 2024 to 6.30 pm on June 1, 2024. That means exit polls will be released only after 6.30 pm on June 1.
