Bhubaneswar, April 2: In preparation for the upcoming Ram Navami celebrations, a flag march was conducted by the police in Bhadrak and Balasore district, Odisha. The march was led by Dr. Satyajit Naik, IPS, DIG Eastern Range, alongside the district administration of Bhadrak and Balasore.
To ensure a safe and secure Ram Navami celebration in both districts, Dr. Naik outlined the extensive police arrangements that have been made. Reports indicate that the police in Bhadrak district have taken significant measures to ensure the peaceful and harmonious observance of the Shri Ram Navami festival.
The police-led flag march traversed through the city of Bhadrak, with participation from Odisha Police, BSF, and CRPF personnel.
A substantial number of law enforcement officers will remain deployed until the conclusion of the Ram Navami Sankirtan procession. In addition, CCTV cameras will be installed in sensitive areas across both districts for enhanced surveillance. Police will maintain vigilance to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure the festival proceeds peacefully.
Dr. Satyajit Naik, IPS, DIG Eastern Range, has appealed to the public to cooperate with the authorities to help maintain law and order during the festive period.
