Four Odia migrant workers killed in road mishap in Telangana

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: In a tragic mishap that took place in Telangana’s Suryapet district in the wee hours of Friday, four migrant workers from Odisha including two women were killed while 18 others were injured after the bus they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck.
The identities of the deceased persons are yet to be ascertained.
As per reports, the mishap took place on Khammam-Suryapet National Highway. The bus with 32 passengers onboard was heading towards Hyderabad from Sinapali block of Odisha's Nuapada district when it rammed into a stationary truck.
Four Odia migrant workers, including two women, lost their lives on the spot, while over 18 other passengers suffered severe injuries.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the spot and rescued the victims. The cops also seized the bodies of the deceased persons and sent them for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the matter was underway.
