Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), February 26: Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the Maha Shivratri celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, accompanied by Isha Foundation founder, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. During the religious ceremony, Shah made offerings to 'Dhyanalinga', a significant sacred site at the Centre.
As part of the celebrations, Sadhguru will initiate the midnight Mahamantra chant, "Om Namah Shivaya," a powerful mantra believed to promote ultimate well-being. Additionally, a new free meditation app, Miracle of the Mind, will be unveiled, featuring a 7-minute guided meditation aimed at helping users establish a simple yet profound daily practice.
The event will also feature mesmerizing performances from renowned artists, including Ajay-Atul, Muktidan Gadhvi, Paraox, CassMae, Sounds of Isha, Isha Samskriti, and various multiregional artists, providing 12 hours of captivating entertainment throughout the night.
Maha Shivratri celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre will commence at 6 pm on February 26 and conclude at 6 am on February 27. Known as the Great Night of Shiva, Maha Shivratri is a highly auspicious occasion for spiritual growth, symbolizing the triumph over darkness and ignorance.
