An exceptional bowling display, spearheaded by Mohammed Siraj on his home ground, restricted Hyderabad, before calculated batting contributions ensured a comfortable seven-wicket win.
Siraj's Career-Best Spell
After being asked to bat first, Sunrisers Hyderabad attempted to implement their characteristic aggressive approach. However, they were consistently pegged back by Mohammed Siraj, who delivered his best-ever IPL figures of 4 for 17. Following Sundar's departure, Sherfane Rutherford, introduced as an Impact Player, ensured there were no further complications. He played a quickfire innings of 35 not out from 16 balls, sealing the victory with 3.2 overs to spare.
