Prayagraj, Jan 16: ‘Kumbh Ke Mele Me Bichadna’ is a common saying that means the trope of family members getting separated at the Kumbh Mela and reuniting years later has long been a favourite storyline of Bollywood.

Here are two sisters-Gita and Lalita from Jharkhand, who have devised an innovative solution to avoid getting lost in this Maha Kumbh Mela.

Both the sisters have tied their bangles on each of their hands with the help of a red ribbon, which will help them to remain in each other’s closeness and avoid getting separated in massive crowds in Prayagraj.

They have roamed around the city for the last three days and plan to do so for the remaining days of their stay for Maha Kumbh Mela.

With an estimation of 60 lakh devotees took the holy dip at the sacred Sangam on the first day of Maha Kumbh.

This year’s Kumbh is a fusion of faith and modernity. In addition to the traditional police arrangements, the authorities have implemented the latest technologies to provide better security for the devotees.

To accommodate the influx of pilgrims, authorities have arranged 150,000 tents and added extra toilets and sanitation facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for visitors.
