New Delhi, January 28: To accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims for the Maha Kumbh Mela, the Indian Railways is running 360 trains, including 190 special services, for devotees traveling to Prayagraj on the occasion of 'Mauni Amavasya'.
Satish Kumar, Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board, confirmed the arrangements, emphasizing the significant increase in train services for the occasion. This surge in train operations is in response to the anticipated crowd, with around 10 crore devotees expected to take part in the 'Amrit Snan' on the auspicious day.
Among the special services, seven trains are being operated from Bhubaneswar to Prayagraj to facilitate easier travel for pilgrims. The railways have made extensive preparations to manage the overwhelming number of devotees expected to attend this key event of the Maha Kumbh.
