Chennai, Nov 26: Mahindra has unveiled its highly anticipated Electric Origin SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 18.90 lakh (Chennai) for the BE 6e and Rs 21.90 lakh (Chennai) for the XEV 9e. Both models are part of Mahindra's INGLO Electric Origin lineup. The vehicles feature an impressive ground clearance of 207 mm.
The market launch for both SUVs will take place in phases starting in the latter part of January 2025, with deliveries expected between February and March 2025. The official unveiling occurred on Tuesday at Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai.
Along with the new SUVs, Mahindra introduced its refreshed brand logo, called the 'Unlimit Logo,' which symbolizes infinity. These electric SUVs represent a new chapter in automotive design, emphasizing innovation, aesthetics, and emotional connection, according to the company.
Mahindra also highlighted that the BE 6e and XEV 9e offer one of the quietest in-car experiences, while featuring advanced technologies like a smart air purifier and UV ray filtration system for enhanced protection.
The battery is capable of fast charging, going from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Additionally, the vehicles are equipped with MAIA, Mahindra's Artificial Intelligence Architecture, for an enhanced driving experience.
