On his Instagram, Akshay congratulated megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his team, Majhi Mumbai, for their victory. He captioned the post, “Catches win matches—Masterclass from the Master Blaster! Congratulations to Sachin, Mr. Bachchan, and the entire Majhi Mumbai team on their victory. To my Srinagar Veers, we fought with immense pride—our day will come!”
The highly anticipated finale of ISPL’s second season took place at Thane, Maharashtra, where Majhi Mumbai faced off against Srinagar Ke Veer. Amitabh Bachchan, a supporter of Majhi Mumbai, was spotted sitting with Sachin Tendulkar in the VIP section of the stadium. Akshay Kumar, owner of the Srinagar Ke Veers, was also in attendance, donning a black striped shirt and pants for the event. He was joined by family and friends.
As the thrilling season came to an end, Majhi Mumbai secured the title by defeating Srinagar Ke Veer by three wickets in a dramatic finale at the packed Dadoji Kondadev Stadium.
