Bhubaneswar, January 29: A major fire broke out at a medicine warehouse near the Symphony Mall in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
A huge quantity of medicines and other pharmaceutical goods were reportedly gutted into ashes.
On being informed, firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and battled to contain the flame. However, the fire turned the whole warehouse into ashes within a few minutes as it was difficult to contain the flames due to lack of suffice space for the fire hosepipes.
The cause behind the fire remains undetermined. However, electrical short-circuit is anticipated, as the cause.
