Puri, January 7: Minister of External Affairs(MEA) S Jaishankar who is on his Odisha visit ahead of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas(PBD) visited the Konark Sun Temple and its Interpretation Centre on Tuesday.
According to reports, Jaishankar and his spouse reportedly applauded the ancient architect of Odisha having a merry go round the shrine. Following this he visited the Interpretation Centre in Konark where he acquired a detailed information regarding the rich cultural ambiance and history behind the construction of the Sun Temple.
According to sources, the MEA and his family members will visit the Shree Jagannath Temple in the afternoon for offering obeisance before the Trinity.
