Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida today said the Odisha government aims to lay the foundation for the growth of the state's tourism over the next 50 years so that it becomes the top destination for adventure and exploration.
Addressing a workshop as part of the sixth edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) conclave here, Parida said Odisha stands as the premier destination for adventure sports, offering an array of breathtaking locations including beaches, dense forests, hills and waterfalls.

Our goal is to lay the foundation for Odisha’s tourism growth over the next 50 years, ensuring it remains a top destination for adventure and exploration,” Parida said.
The B2B exhibition of the 6th edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) 2025 commenced here today, bringing together domestic tour operators and sellers from Odisha under one roof.
Organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in collaboration with FICCI, the four-day event aims to position Odisha as a leading tourism and investment hub through strategic B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2G (Business-to-Government) engagements.
100+ buyers from states such as Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal participated in the event. Pre-scheduled, structured B2B meetings between the buyers and sellers were carried out.
The event also witnessed over 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings between 70+ sellers from Odisha’s tourism sector and the domestic and international tour operators, fostering future collaborations and business engagements.
