Bhubaneswar, February 25: Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda is set to visit Odisha for a two-day tour beginning on February 28. During his visit, he will attend a National Health Mission (NHM) event in Puri, Odisha Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department informed in its official ‘X ‘handle on Tuesday.
Minister Nadda will engage in a meeting with health secretaries from various states to discuss advancements in the healthcare sector. He is also scheduled to participate in the NHM program, which will span two days.
Additionally, the Union Health Minister will inaugurate the 9th National Summit on Good and Replicable Practices and Innovations in Public Healthcare in India. He will also unveil the report of the 16th Common Review Mission.

The event will be graced by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Health & Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling. The summit will focus on the progress of India’s healthcare system, the enhancement of medical facilities, and strategies for future developments in the sector.
This national-level summit will be held at the Swosti Premium Beach Resort in Puri, with a special emphasis on innovations in the public healthcare system.
