Renowned for his tireless efforts in conserving Olive Ridley turtles and restoring mangrove forests, Soumya has made a significant impact on environmental conservation in Odisha. He has dedicated over 11 years to the protection of marine life and restoration of vital ecosystems.
His remarkable work has led to the restoration of 1.2 lakh mangroves in tsunami-prone regions, providing crucial protection to coastal communities.
