Bhubaneswar, Dec 17: Indian Railways has unveiled a significant infrastructure project aimed at improving rail connectivity and operational efficiency.
The project involves the execution of P.Way works between Sarla-Sason and Brundamal-Jharsuguda for the construction of the 3rd and 4th lines, along with the creation of a flyover connecting the Down Line.
The scope of the project includes the linking, laying, and dismantling of tracks, installation of points and crossings, supply of ballast, transportation of materials, and other related tasks.
With an estimated budget of ₹26.75 crore, this initiative is expected to significantly enhance rail infrastructure.
The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for the project is set at ₹14.88 lakh, and interested bidders are invited to submit tenders by January 16, 2025, which will also be the day proposals are opened for evaluation.
