Singapore, Nov 17: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday discussed with Orind Singapore Pte Ltd. to set up its bio-fertilizer units in Odisha.
Majhi interacted with Ravin Jhunjhunwala, Chairman of Orind Singapore Pte Ltd who expressed his interest to invest in Odisha especially in the field of bio-fertilizer.
During hour-long meeting Majhi urged Jhunjhunwala to set up the facility in Odisha and assured all essential support for the unit.
The Chief Minister also met Vivek Agarwal, promoter of Visa Group Ltd and requested him to invest in value-added products of the steel and ferro-chrome sectors.
The Odisha government delegation also met Wong Kim Yin, Group President & CEO of Sembcorp Industries Limited and discussed on its investment on green ammonia project.
Apart from it, Majhi also met Edward Morton, founder of CT Metrix, B C Tan, Chairman of UBCT along with Sushant Patnaik, founder & CEO, iHub Inc and discussed the developments in semiconductors, medical equipment manufacturing and smart city solution units.
