Cuttack, Nov 17: In a tragic incident, a +2 student has been electrocuted in Cuttack Bali Yatra on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as, Biswa Prakash Mahanta from Jagatsinghpur district.
Source said, Biswa Prakash, a student of a private College was enjoying the Bali Yatra at Cuttack in the evening, accompanied by some of his friends. While they were moving around the trade fair, he reportedly came in contact with power cable and sustained critical injuries on his body. He was rushed to the trauma care centre set up in the ground, for resuscitation. Later, he was shifted to the SCB Medical College & Hospital, for super specialty care. However, he was declared dead by the doctors.
