Bhubaneswar, March 2: Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi bought a unique art-piece featuring ‘Mohan-Banshi’ that is ‘Lord Srikrisha playing flute’ from the women entrepreneurs.
During a merry go round in the Subhadra Shakti Mela, a grand exhibition that's showcasing women SHG products held at the Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, Majhi stopped a while before a stall making ‘Best from the Waste’. A unique portrait of Lord Krishna, prepared with trash paper, clinged his eyeballs, made him spellbound for moments thinking about its intrinsic workmanship coupling emotions.
Majhi prompted its sole creator, a woman who was present over the stall, to hand over the piece of paper-craft to him, and enquired of its price.
The woman who was almost dazed to find the Chief Minister at her stall in close proximity, passed on the master piece to Majhi. Soon, Majhi bartered it for Rs 600 and waited for a selfie with the Subhadra, who had trialed her hands with the innovation.
Besides, Majhi bargained a Bhairabi poster from the stall that was an icon for the Shaivites creating true devotion.
