Bhubaneswar, July 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to chair the Odisha Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, where significant proposals are expected to be announced. The meeting, scheduled for 11:30 am at the Lok Seva Bhavan, will address various important matters.
Reports indicate that key proposals are likely to receive approval during this crucial meeting. The agenda includes discussions on demands from various departments, with the budget presentation slated for July 25. Proposals related to city development, trade, and transport are anticipated to be approved, along with decisions concerning agriculture, water resources, planning and coordination, law, and municipal departments.
In a previous cabinet meeting on June 19, the state government submitted the Justice Raghubir Das Commission report to the High Court. The report, detailing the loss of keys to the temple jewels, was originally submitted in November 2018 but was not made public. This prompted Dillip Kumar Baral of Puri to approach the High Court, leading to a scheduled hearing today.
