Odisha Congress reorganises social media unit

Bhubaneswar, Dec, 23: As the general  and state assembly election approaches, Odisha Congress has activated its social media unit. Recently, the party has reorganized its unit. 

Amiya Pandav, party spokesperson has been appointed as the new chairman of the social media cell of the state. , Pandav, the journalist turned politician, will lead the social media unit of the party.  

For the smooth functioning of the social media unit, four coordinators have been appointed. They will be in charge of the West, North, and South zones. Human rights activist Manisha Das Pattanaik has been joined as coordinator. Sushant Maharana, Mukesh Agrawal,  and Anas Pradhan will also be coordinators in the state committee. 

 On Wednesday, the state Congress leaders met party President Mallikarjun Khadge and Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. In this meeting, it was decided to form a state social media unit in the state.  AICC secretary, K. C. Venugopal had announced it.  

 Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Sharat Patnaik also informed about the appointment of social media coordinators in a press release
