Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: The disbursement of the fourth phase of the first installment under the Subhadra Yojana, originally scheduled for December 25, has been temporarily postponed, as confirmed by Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday.

In a media statement, Deputy Chief Minister Parida clarified that the delay was due to the ongoing verification of beneficiaries.

"The release of the fourth-phase funds, initially set for December 25, has been put on hold as the verification process is still in progress," she said.

While the Odisha government had planned to distribute the funds on the scheduled date, the verification process has caused this delay.

Parida encouraged citizens to use the Subhadra Grievance Portal to report any issues.

She also mentioned that Revenue Inspectors (RIs) are conducting field checks, while Anganwadi workers are visiting villages to ensure thorough verification.

The Deputy Chief Minister further explained that beneficiaries with land-related issues or discrepancies in their bank and Aadhaar details have been temporarily excluded from the list.

The verification team is actively working to address these concerns, and beneficiaries are advised to submit accurate details to the Subhadra inquiry team. Additionally, those facing rejection can submit a letter outlining their issues to the block office, she said.
