Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: The Odisha government has instructed its employees to submit their annual property statements for 2024 by January 31.
A circular issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances department to all government departments, department heads, Revenue Divisional Commissioners (RDCs), Collectors, and District Magistrates emphasized the importance of meeting this deadline.
According to the Odisha Government Servants Conduct (Amendment) Rules, 2021, all government employees, from Group A to Group D, are required to declare their complete and accurate assets—both movable and immovable—along with their values as of January 1 each year. The property declarations must be submitted online through the HRMS Portal by the specified deadline of January 31 of the following year.
The circular also highlighted that up-to-date property statements are mandatory for employee promotions. Therefore, all government employees must submit their property details via the HRMS Portal by January 31, 2025. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
The department has urged heads of departments to ensure that employees under their jurisdiction are adequately informed and reminded of this requirement.
