Bhubaneswar, January 11: The Odisha government has on Saturday announced the extension of the annual state-level flower exhibition at Ekamra Kanan in Bhubaneswar by one day, following a strong and enthusiastic response from visitors.

Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia has declared the extension, stating that the exhibition, initially scheduled to end on January 11, will now continue until January 12.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the flower show on January 7. This is a joint initiative of the Regional Plant Resources Centre (RPRC) and the Plant Lovers’ Association.

This year's exhibition features 70 stalls from various agencies across Odisha, offering an impressive display of over 500 types of flowers, including roses, marigolds, dahlias, zinnias, and ferns.
