Bhubaneswar, Dec 28: The Odisha Police executed a massive reshuffle in the ranks of inspectors by transferring of 208 police inspectors to different districts across the state on Friday.
In addition, 38 police personnel were relieved from the Commissionerate Police. Several officers will also be reassigned to important units, including the Crime Branch, Vigilance, Government Railway Police (GRP), Intelligence, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Special Task Force (STF) Bhubaneswar, Special Branch Bhubaneswar, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), and the Police Training School in Angul.
As part of the reshuffle, Bidhu Bhusan Mishra, previously stationed in Dhenkanal, has been transferred to Angul. S. Dasarathi Patro, who was serving in Bhadrak, will now be posted in Berhampur.
Kamalakanta Das, who was with the Commissionerate Police, has been moved to Bhadrak. Additionally, Santosh Kumar Gouda, who was serving at the SCRB in Bhubaneswar, has been transferred to the CID in Cuttack.
