Bhubaneswar, April 17:Odisha will get a NH network of America standard, said Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday.
While dedicating a plethora of road projects for the nation and laying the foundation stones of a series of new road projects in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar today, Gadkari assured a sophistically transformed National Highways Network through Odisha, which will boost the state’s economy expanding commerce and trade across the nation.
During a public address at Baramunda ground in Bhubaneswar, Gadkari reaffirmed the Centre’s ambitious infrastructure roadmap for Odisha, stating that the state’s highways will soon match those of the United States in quality and scale.
Underlining various key NH projects, Gadkari said that over Rs 2 lakh crore worth of road infrastructure projects are currently in progress across Odisha.
