Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: Odisha is all set to have robust air connectivity from year 2025.
In order to boost the air connectivity across the state and nation as well, new direct flight routes will be opened up in the new year.
In a first, regular air linkage from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar will start functioning while some key cities across India will be joined with the state capital through air ways.
From January 1, Jharsuguda will have direct flights to Hyderabad, Raipur, Lucknow, and Mumbai. Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik Airport will commence direct flight services to Indore, Dehradun, Kochi, Jaipur, and Lucknow from January 3.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi announced the development via the social media platform X on Monday.
