Bhubaneswar, Mar 8: Days after separation from actress Varsha Priyadarshini, Ollywood actor Anubhav Mohanty got engaged with journalist Jagrati Shukla.
Taking to her Facebook handle, Jagrati, who is also a friend of Mohanty, confirmed about their engagement and wrote, "I said yes to my best friend 💍 . My heart is overflowing with gratitude for the blessings from our families and the constant support of our friends. This bond of friendship has blossomed into something beautiful, and I can’t wait to write our love story together 💞."
As per reports, the couple will get married on March 11 or April 1.
It is worth mentioning that Jagrati recently shared her wedding plans in a podcast, shortly after launching her book Blockbusters to Ballot Box, a biography of popular actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty.
For some time now, Anubhav had been posting pictures with Jagrati on social media, even while he was going through a legal battle with his estranged wife, Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini.
Their long-standing divorce case finally came to an end when the Orissa High Court granted the couple a divorce on December 21, 2023, overturning the lower court's decision.
