Bhubaneswar, Oct 06: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) announced on Sunday the cancellation of the written examination for Optional Subjects (Paper-I and Paper-II) for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers in Physics, Mathematics, and Odia, citing "unavoidable circumstances."
The exam was originally set for October 6, 2024.
In its notification, OPSC confirmed the cancellation of the written examination for these specific subjects and stated that examinations for all other optional subjects will proceed as scheduled.
The commission will provide further dates for the exams in Physics, Mathematics, and Odia at a later time.
Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the OPSC website for updates regarding the examination schedule, according to the notification.
