Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) published as many as 12 advertisements for 8933 vacancies in different posts in 2024.
It was revealed during the 32nd Foundation Day of Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), which was observed at the commission's office on Saturday.
A total of 29 examinations (12 Preliminary and 17 Main Written Exam) were conducted last year. Besides, five numbers of CST/ Typing Test/ Stenography Test were also conducted.
Certificate verification of more than 11101 shortlisted candidates in 15 different examinations was conducted last year. A total of 4507 candidates were recommended for different posts to different appointing authorities for issue of appointment order in their favour.
The OSSC has also released comparative achievement which shows improvements in number of recruitment tests held and number of candidates selected over the years of last 31 years.
