New Delhi, April 23: Following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Ministry of Civil Aviation announced on Wednesday that four special evacuation flights have been arranged from Srinagar—two each to Delhi and Mumbai.

"Additional flights are on standby based on further demand," the ministry’s statement said.
Air India confirmed that it would operate two extra flights from Srinagar on Wednesday, April 23. One flight to Delhi is scheduled to depart at 11:30 AM, while the flight to Mumbai will take off at 12:00 PM.
To support affected passengers, Air India, IndiGo, Air India Express, and Akasa Air have all announced full refunds and complimentary rescheduling for those with confirmed bookings.

In a bid to prevent fare surges during the crisis, Civil Aviation Minister Naidu held an emergency meeting with airline operators, directing them to keep ticket prices at normal levels.
"Airlines have been instructed to maintain standard pricing to avoid placing additional financial pressure on travellers," the ministry added.
The minister also worked in coordination with state governments to facilitate the return of stranded tourists. He spoke with the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra to assist in the safe return of residents from the state and also briefed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on the ongoing situation.
