Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated Utkarsh Odisha: Make-in-Odisha Conclave 2025 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.
The ambitious two-day business summit is expected to attract over Rs 5 lakh investment to Odisha. Diplomats and country representatives from across the world have landed in the capital city to attend the mega event. The flagship Global Investment Summit, hosted by the Government of Odisha, aims to position the state as the anchor of the Purvodaya vision and a leading investment destination and industrial hub in India.
At Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said, "In the last seven months, it's your (PM Modi's) 5th visit to Odisha and you always bring gifts for the state. This time, you have brought such a big gift that the condition of Odisha will massively change in a few months. The foundation of 'Purvodaya' you laid seven months back, a strong infrastructure is going to be built on that..."
"The Government is ready to walk three steps if you choose to work half a step...I extend you all a warm welcome and invite with open arms... come and invest in Odisha and be a part of the growth story of Odisha," said the Chief Minister.
On 'Utkarsh Odisha–Make in Odisha Conclave 2025', Odisha Speaker Speaker Surama Padhy said, "Odisha has a prominent spot in Purvanchal. This is the reason the PM comes here again and again. Odisha has a lot of potential. It is going to become an industrial hub. 'Utkarsh Odisha' is one of the steps being taken towards the development of Odisha."
