Balasore, January 11: Precautionary curfew has been imposed in Balasore distirct on Saturday for eviction related issues owing to railway expansion project.
The Balasore district Administration had issued public notifications in this connection on Friday.
According to the order, prohibitory curfew order was imposed from 4 AM today. It will continue to 10 PM on January 12 during the eviction of slum for redevelopment of railway line.
No public gathering of more than three people is allowed in most parts of the Balasore town including some specified locations during the hours, said the order.
