Bhubaneswar: The 3rd Priyabrata Patnaik Memorial 10Red Snooker Championship-2025 kicks started here today. Bhubaneswar Club President Asit Tripathy inaugurated the meet in presence of wife of Sri Priyabrata Patnaik : Dr. Lipsha Mishra, Koushik Mohapatra, Billiards and Snooker Association of Odisha (BSAO) Secretary Sameer Ali and tournament Director Govind Sharma.
All the guests and office bearers did light the lamp in the fond memories of late Priyabrata Patnaik and the BSAO jersey launched for the New Calendar Year events of 2025.
This is the 3rd Edition of the ongoing C'Ship whereas the 1st and 2nd took place in the year 2022 & 2023.
Almost 39 players have participated in this 10Red Format C'Ship being organised by the Billiards & Snooker Association of Odisha. The C'Ship is expected to conclude on the 17th January. The champion and runners will get Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The semifinalists and quarterfinalists will receive Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 respectively.
