Mumbai, Sept 3: On the occasion of Shakti Kapoor's 72nd birthday, his daughter and actress Shraddha Kapoor expressed her love and admiration for him with a touching Instagram post. Sharing a selfie of herself in a pink outfit standing close to her father, Shraddha wrote in the caption: “Aaj mere pasandida purush ka janam din hai! Happy Birthday Baapu @shaktikapoor. Woh stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai kyunki uske papa ka haath har dum uske sar par hai Love you Baapu.”
In response to her heartfelt message, Karisma Kapoor commented, “Happy birthday Shakti ji,” while Varun Dhawan noted, “Shakssss looking fresh.” Shraddha playfully replied to Varun with, “He a bigsteppa trendsetta.”
Shakti Kapoor has had a prolific career in Bollywood, appearing in numerous films such as ‘Kasam Khoon Ki’, ‘Alibaba Marjinaa’, ‘Lootmaar’, ‘Qurbani’, ‘Yeh Rishta Na Tootay’, ‘Khuda Kasam’, ‘Satte Pe Satta’, ‘Kanoon Meri Mutthi Mein’, ‘Mera Jawab’, ‘Yaadon Ki Kasam’, ‘Insaaf Main Karoonga’, ‘Ghar Jamai’, ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Diljale’, ‘Judwaa’, and ‘Hero No. 1’.
Shraddha Kapoor made her acting debut in the 2010 thriller ‘Teen Patti’, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley, and R. Madhavan. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Arohi in the romantic musical ‘Aashiqui 2’, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Aditya Roy Kapur.
