Bhubaneswar, November 19: Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy has called an all-party meeting on November 25 to discuss the House management, informed Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling.
The Odisha Legislative Assembly Winter Session will start on November 26 and continue till December 31. The Assembly secretariat has issued the scheduled program.
Minister Mukesh Mahaling said that just one day before the commencement of the Assembly session, Speaker Surama Padhy will chair the all-party meeting to discuss how to ensure the smooth function of the House.
According to the Assembly secretariat, there will be 25 working days in the Winter Session and several Bills are expected to be tabled during this session. The government will also table the supplementary budget during the Winter Session.
Mahaling claimed that the state government is fully prepared to discuss all subjects raised by the Opposition during the Winter Session
