Bhubaneswar, Aug 11: The post-mortem and probe report of Subhalaxmi Sahoo whose hanging body was recovered from a hotel on August 4 proved that the teenage student died by suicide, confirmed Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh on Friday.
The DCP has also said that, “there is no viral video of the deceased has been found. If any such video is found, we will definitely analyse it. However, further investigation is underway to ascertain more details in this regard”.

Commissionerate police have so far questioned nearly a dozen people in this connection and their statements have been recorded.
Worth mentioning, the phone of the deceased was sent to the State Forensic Science Laboratory in Bhubaneswar for further investigation.
However, the state Women’s Commission has directed the commissionerate police to submit a detailed report within 15 days.
