Bhubaneswar, Jan 27: Odisha is gearing up to showcase its industrial strengths to both global and domestic investors at the highly anticipated Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 tomorrow.
The two-day event, set to take place at Janata Maidan, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It focuses on three major themes:
- Start-Up Odisha
- Skilled in Odisha
- Women Entrepreneurship
The conclave aims to position the state as a key player in India's industrial growth.
The initiative is seen as a vital step in realizing the state's vision of "Samrudh Odisha 2036" and "Viksit Bharat 2047."
Key points:
- Over 7,500 delegates are registered, including 100+ international delegates from 20 countries, such as Singapore, Australia, the UK, the US, and Vietnam.
- Prominent figures like Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Agarwal, Sajjan Jindal, and Karan Adani will attend, along with Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
- The conclave will highlight sectors like technical textiles, petrochemicals, specialty metals, renewable energy, green fuels, and the circular economy.
- Attendees will experience Odisha’s rich cultural heritage with performances from the Odisha Dance Academy and a cultural medley, plus a drone show on both evenings.
- Nearly 150 exhibitors will showcase innovative products. The expo will be open to the general public on January 30 after the conclave.
