Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: In a tragic incident, a young woman allegedly died after falling from a moving train near Tangiriapal Railway Station in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today.
The identity of the deceased woman is to be ascertained.
As per reports, the woman was travelling from Puri to Barbil in a passenger train when she fell off under unknown circumstances and lost her life.
A trackman, who was working nearby, spotted the woman and alerted the police.
Upon getting the information, Government Railway Police and Harichandanpur police arrived at the spot and seized the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the matter is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the woman’s death.
