New Delhi, January 17: In a tragic incident, at least 10 died after a boat carrying at least 80 passengers capsized near Morocco in Pak.
At least 36 people onboard got a close shave after a prompt rescue operation.
According to reports, as many as 80 illegal migrants, mostly Pakistani nationals were ferrying in a boat who were reportedly on the way to enter into Spain’s Canary Islands in Europe through West Africa. Meanwhile, the boat drowned in the sea.
On being informed, Moroccan authorities rescued 36 people from a boat. Details revealed that the boat had left from Mauritania on the 2nd of January 2025 with 86 illegal migrants, 66 of them were Pakistani nationals.
