Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: Around 100 special guests have been invited to join the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Around 10,000 special guests have been invited to join the ceremony from across the state including 100 from Odisha, said Dr Basant Kumar Pati, Odisha in-charge.
Invitation for the ceremony has been extended to political figures, international guests and ordinary people who have contributed extraordinarily to the Mandir Movement. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has sent out the invites.
The ceremony card outlines the schedule, emphasising the commencement of the 'Pran Pratishtha' puja at 11:30 am on January 22. Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, will perform the main ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the guests at 12:30 pm. The chief guests include PM Modi, RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and temple trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
Heads of major temples, representatives of religious and constitutional institutions and spiritual leaders have been invited to the ceremony.
