Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ace para-athlete Jayanti Behera has made India proud once again by securing a bronze medal in the Women’s 100m T-47 category at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2025 at Delhi on Wednesday.
Competing against top international athletes, Jayanti clocked an impressive 13.62 seconds, finishing third behind Anastasiia Soloveva (Neutral Para Athletics) 112.55 sec and Janani Wickramasingha (Sri Lanka) 13.25 sec.
Jayanti’s outstanding performance continues her legacy as one of India’s finest para-athletes. Her dedication and perseverance have been instrumental in bringing glory to the country.
