SRK LITS BOX OFFICE IN 2023
Shah Rukh Khan has literally lit the box office on fire in 20234. His 2023 comeback film Pathaan earned over Rs 1,050 crore globally. The action-packed spy thriller reestablished him as Bollywood’s biggest star.
He followed it up with Jawan, directed by Atlee. This mass entertainer, where SRK played dual roles, smashed records with a Rs 1,150 crore worldwide haul. The film’s gripping story and high-energy action made it a favourite across generations.
Then came director Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. This heartwarming story connected deeply with audiences and further strengthened SRK’s dominance at the box office.
‘KING’ ONLY HOPE
Now, all eyes are on King, an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. SRK will take on a dark, intense role in the film, which also stars his daughter, Suhana Khan.
The project has already created massive buzz. The shoot is set to begin in May, with Abhishek Bachchan reportedly playing the antagonist. Initially, Sujoy Ghosh was set to direct, but Siddharth Anand has now taken over and will also co-produce. After the success of Pathaan, fans expect another blockbuster from this duo.
Judging from the excitement, SRK remains Bollywood’s biggest crowd-puller. Even after decades in the industry, no one commands the box office quite like him.
