Ayodhya (UP), April 6: On Ram Navami, the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya witnessed a celestial event known as the 'Surya Tilak.' At noon, a beam of sunlight illuminated the forehead of Ram Lalla's idol, forming a divine tilak. Priests were seen offering prayers during this moment.

Across Uttar Pradesh, large crowds gathered at temples, including in Ayodhya and Sambhal. To manage the influx of devotees, authorities heightened security with drone surveillance and zonal arrangements. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajkaran Nayyar noted that the areas were divided into zones for better crowd control. Additional SP Madhuban Singh confirmed the deployment of extra police personnel to ensure safety and proper parking arrangements at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

In Sambhal, security was also reinforced, and surveillance systems were closely monitored.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended Ram Navami greetings, wishing the occasion would bring renewed enthusiasm and strength to the nation. He expressed his hopes for a prosperous and capable India.
