Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: Bhubaneswar is gearing up for a high-security visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other VVIPs, with the Commissionerate Police announcing a ban on drones and flights in certain areas of the city from November 29 to December 1.
The move is aimed at ensuring maximum security and preventing any potential aerial threats during the prime minister’s visit and related engagements.
The no-fly and no-drone zones will cover key locations, especially those hosting official events and VVIP visits. Authorities have urged residents and local organizations to comply with these restrictions to avoid legal consequences.
Drone operators, in particular, have been warned not to use their devices within the designated restricted areas during the specified period. These security measures are in line with national protocols for VVIP visits to safeguard public safety.
Citizens have been asked to cooperate with law enforcement to ensure a smooth and secure experience during the upcoming events.
