Bhubaneswar: The election of the Catering Association of Odisha (CAO) was held during their Annual General Body Meeting held here on Sunday. The office bearers were elected unanimously for the period of 2025-29.
Binaya Bhusan Patnaik, Debi Prasad Rath and M Jay Prasad Rao elected as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Other office bearers are Anup Kumar Bagaei, Naba Ranjan Patnaik, Prabodha Kumar Das and Debasis Dhala as Chairman, Pattern, Chief Advisor and PRO respectively.
While congratulating all the newly elected office bearers and the members, President Binaya Bhusan Patnaik said "together we can make our Association stronger and stronger. As we observed during the marriage, birthday and other social functions the wastage of food is a matter of serious concern. We must launch massive drive to create awareness among public "
The secretary Debi Prasad Rath said "during the social functions we most give emphasis to popularise our local cosine".
