Cuttack, Ap 16: The Chaitra Purnima was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Kaibarta community at the Gatteshwar Temple premises in Kantapada block of Cuttack district.
Renowned film actor Ashru Mochan Mohanty was the guest of the evening. He highlighted the contributions and rich heritage of the Kaibarta community and emphasized their role in social progress.
A large number of Kaibarta community members from the surrounding areas gathered to take part in the festivities. During the event, distinguished local journalists and social workers were honored by the organizing committee in recognition of their service and contributions to the community.
This year’s Chaitra FParva in Cuttack was a reminder of the importance of cultural heritage and the need to keep traditions alive. It also showcased the Kaibarta community's unwavering commitment to preserving their unique identity while contributing to the cultural mosaic of Odisha.
