Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: The Chandaka Wildlife Sanctuary on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar City, will be left open for visitors at night.
Principal Conservator of Forest (PCCF) Susanta Nanda informed it on Friday.
Nanda said, nocturnal trail in the Chandaka forest will be initiated for visitors from January 29. Accordingly, visitors will be allowed safari ride here in the Bharatpur Safari, where they will enjoy the night with amazing sightseeing amid forest and wildlife.
According to the decision of the forest department, the night safari will remain open from the evening till 9:30pm every day for the visitors.
Speaking about the development, PCCF Nanda said, “The safari will particularly benefit students and research scholars who can study the nocturnal animals in a conducive atmosphere in the nature.”
