Bhubaneswar, Nov 22: While the Plus-2 exams-2024 are scheduled to be held in February 2025, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha has announced new Exam & evaluation patterns on Friday.
According to the CHSE’s notifications, pass mark for each theory paper without any practical is 24. A candidate can pass the theory subject with a full mark of 80 by securing only 24 in the written exam. However, another 20 marks will be evaluated through internal assessment.
Apart from it, the question papers will comprise 20 marks of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Underlining the new pattern of exams and evaluation methodology, Controller of CHSE Prasant Parida said that the council is revising the evaluation and mark distribution system for the higher secondary students for the first time.
It would support the average students for its student- centric approach and boost the average pass rate, Parida added.
