New Delhi, February 21:Following the suspicious death of a Nepali girl student on the KIIT campus and the eruption triggered over it, the Ministry of External Affairs asserted priorities to the safety & security of the International students studying here.
Acting on the diplomatic row over the death of the the Nepalese girl an inmate of the KIIT hostel, the MEA took stock of the matter remaining in constant touch with the Odisha government ,KIIT authorites and the government of Nepal.
External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal while adressing the students’ concern said that the ministry has initiated various steps to resolve the issues of the Nepal students that are pursuing their higher studies in Odisha.
Apart from it, the ministry has urged the Odisha government to investigate into the matter and report on the action taken in this connection, Jaiswal added.
